Tendughat Dam is a huge dam built by the Panna Water Resources Department on the Ken river. This dam is situated at a distance of 105 km from the headquarter of Panna district near Shahpur Kalan village of Shahnagar Tehsil. The length of this dam is 806 meters and the height is 37 meters. The water holding capacity of this dam is 124.80 million cubic meters. With its construction, 25,000 hectares of land will be irrigated easily. Through this Tendughat Dam, 83 villages of Pawai and Gunaur districts will be benefitted.

The work of this dam and irrigation project started in 2015 under the supervision of BL Dadouria.1373 hectares of land is used to build the Tendughat dam on the Ken river. In which the area of 599 hectares of private land and 536 hectares of government land and 238 hectares of forest land has been affected. This dam will easily irrigate 11 thousand hectares. There are 9 gates in this dam, whose length is 10 meters and width is 10.50 meters. Tendughat Dam is slowly becoming a tourism place.
Shahnagar Tehsil which goes through Nunagar village and we can also go by the way of Bisani. In the rainy season, there is an influx of people here. When the gates of the Dam open. Then this view is amazing. Good time to come here is in rainy and winter. Like from July to January, it is listed on Google Map as Pawai Dam.
तेन्दुघाट डेम केन नदी पर बना पन्ना जलसंसाधन विभाग द्वारा बनाया गया बहुत बड़ा बांध है | यह बांध पन्ना जिला के मुख्यालय से 105 किलोमीटर दुरी पर शाहनगर तहसील के शाहपुर कलां गांव के निकट स्थित है | इस बांध की लम्बाई 806 मीटर तथा ऊंचाई 37 मीटर बनाया गया है | इस बांध की जल धारण क्षमता 124.80 मिलियन घन मीटर है| इसके निर्माण से 25,000 हजार हेक्टेअर भूमि की सिंचाई आसानी से हो जाएगा | इस तेन्दुघाट डेम के माध्यम पवई व गुनौर जनपद के 83 गांवो को इसका लाभ होगा |
जल संसाधन विभाग के मंत्री बी . एल ददौरिया की निगरानी में इस बांध व सिचाई परियोजना का काम 2015 में शुरू हुआ था| केन नदी पर बने तेन्दुघाट बांध को बनाने में 1373 हेक्टेअर भूमि लगी है | जिसमे 599 हेक्टेअर निजी भूमि और 536 हेक्टेअर शासकीय भूमि तथा 238 हेक्टेअर वन भूमि का क्षेत्र प्रभावित हुआ है | इस बांध से 11 हजार हेक्टेअर की सिंचाई आसानी से हो जाएगी | इस बांध में ९ गेट लगे हुए है ,जिनकी लम्बाई 10 मीटर और चौड़ाई 10.50 मीटर है तेन्दुघाट डेम धीरे धीरे टूरिज्म प्लेस बनता जा रहा है |
यहाँ जाने के बहुत सारे रास्ते है | शाहनगर तहसील से 40 killomiter जो नूनगर गांव से होकर जाता है| और बिसानी वाले रास्ते से भी हम जा सकते है | बरसात के सीजन में यहाँ पर लोगो का ताँता लगा रहता है | जब डेम के गेट खुल जाते है | तब ये नजारा अदभुत होता है | यहाँ आये का अच्छा समय बरसात और सर्दी में होता है | जैसे जुलाई से जनवरी तक , गूगल मैप पर इसे पवई बांध के नाम से लिस्टेड है |
Visit Panna National Park
Shaded in the Panna district of Madhya Pradesh, the Pandav Falls grace the banks of Ken River and reign at a height of around 30 meters. Named after the Pandava brothers from the Indian Epic Mahabharata who are believed to have been there, the area is loaded with natural gems.
